Pour les besoins d'une commande, voilà deux jours de RTT que j'essaye désespérément de faire quelques photographies classiques d'architecture à Paris la Défense...
Deux jours que je me retrouve dans une brume épaisse, qu'aucun soleil ne pourrait transpercer...
Alors tel James Sunderland, le personnage du jeu Silent Hill 2, j'erre dans cette ville fantôme, pure architecture de béton inhumaine et au fil de mes pérégrinations je découvre des lieux glauquissimes et étonnants qui font marcher mon imagination.
Bien entendu, une fois encore, tout se passe sous terre...
Mal barrée cette commande :)

[For the purpose of a commercial order, I just spent two days off trying desperately to make some classical architecture photographs in Paris La Défense.
Two days I find myself stucked in a thick mist, no sun could pierce ...
So as James Sunderland, the character of the game Silent Hill 2, I wander in this ghost town, pure inhuman concrete architecture and through my wanderings I ended up into amazing and frightening locations, that keep my imagination stimulated.
Of course, once again, everything goes underground ... .]

La fin de l'histoire A bit like Alice avec la dernière photographie Road back to Kansas ?

Je tiens une fois de plus à remercier ma mini-muse Mina, pour son incommensurable patience et sa capacité à comprendre des directives étranges telles que :
- Plus à gauche comme ça, et le pied, oui plus à droite... oui comme ça... tourne voir un tout petit peu sur toi vers le mur comme ça... c'est ça ne bouge plus !
- Tu peux te déporter sur ta droite... euh enfin ta droite dans le reflet du miroir... ton autre droite quoi !
- Oui tiens ton bras en l'air comme ça... oui comme si tu appelais ton reflet... enfin tu vois...
Bref, un super grand merci !

- More on the left like that, and turn your foot to the right ... yes like that ... turn round a little bit toward the wall ... yeah like that ! Don't move right now !
- Deport yourself on your right ... euh your right in the reflection of the mirror ... well your other right!
- Yes, hold your arm up like this ... yes, as if you called your reflection ... you know...

L'origine de cette série est la découverte du travail du photographe Jaime Monfort.
C'est par la suite l'envie de promener Mina dans mes ambiances sous-terraines en brassant les influences de Alice au pays des merveilles et de Le magicien d'Oz. Voici la première des 7 photographies qui composent cette série intitulée 'A bit like Alice..."

[The origin of this series is the discovery of the work of Jaime Monfort.
It comes also from my will to put Mina into a story with my underground atmospheres, taking inspiration from influences of Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz.

Je suis actuellement en train de me refaire le jeu Silent Hill 2 sur PS2 (sans doute le jeu le plus angoissant et effrayant jamais réalisé).

Depuis 6 ans que j'habite à Paris, j'emprunte régulièrement un escalier qui m'a toujours semblé absolument glauque. J'ai du le photographier des dizaines de fois sans jamais obtenir un rendu satisfaisant.

Cette fois le grand angle, une bonne heure de retouche sur photoshop, et les images de Silent Hill 2 qui flottent dans mon cerveau auront eu raison de cet escalier obsédant !
