L'homme à la boîte de tête en carton est de retour chez lui, box sweet box...
Je trouvais marrant et un brin surréaliste d'imaginer le personnage s'entourant de boîtes en carton pour aménager son espace de vie (c'est plus simple à monter que les meubles Ikéa).
La boucle du "métro, boulot, dodo" est en train de se refermer.

I found funny and a bit surreal picturing the character surrounding himself with cardboard boxes to organize its living space (it's easier to install than Ikea furniture).
The loop of the humdrum daily routine is ready to be closed.

Puis comme souvent avec mes premières intentions, j'ai dérapé vers autre chose avec du Riri pur jus qui abuse du tilt-shift dans un couloir minimaliste pour refaire 2001: A Space Odyssey de Stanley Kubrick :)

Tenth photograph of the series Cardboard Box Head.
Working on the "job" part for the humdrum daily routine of the carboard box head guy, I looked again at photographer Phillip Toledano work with a focus on his project "Bankrupt", hoping it will inspire the shooting.
Then, as often with my first intentions, I've slipped into something else, abusing the tilt-shift effect in a minimalist corridor to remake 2001: A Space Odyssey in one shot :)

J'ai retrouvé la Mystery Machine, le van de Scooby Doo, perdu dans la nuit.
L'autre mystère à éclaircir est la disparition pure et simple de toute source de lumière sur cette photographie (je parie sur un lampadaire pas vous ?)
La photo manque carrément de netteté (allez prendre une photo par une nuit noire sans pied !), mais je trouve le résultat amusant, donc publiable...

Une photographie à "rotation ludique" comme je les aime...
C'est vraiment le genre de photos où j'ai laissé libre cours à mon inconscient pendant la prise de vue (ah! les autres prises ridicules...) et même pendant la post-production.
Au final, je la trouve particulièrement évocatrice.
C'est sans doute pour cela que je l'ai offerte à Cali pour la célébration du début de sa 7e année de bêtises ouèbiennes ! :)

En grand sur LudImaginary

J'ai toujours aimé regarder les choses sous un autre angle.
Je n'y peux rien, c'est un automatisme chez moi... je vois quelque chose qui m'intéresse et automatiquement je commence à pencher la tête pour regarder autrement...
Alors oui, ça fait rire les gens mais bon :)

C'est donc très naturellement que je tente souvent l'expérience sur photoshop en jouant avec des rotations sur certains clichés.
Souvent ça ne donne rien, mais parfois le rendu est destabilisant et étrangement intriguant.
C'est ce que je ressens quand je regarde cette photographie... et comme j'ai appris à faire confiance à mes yeux (et au regard avisé de Cali), je publie tel quel...

[I always loved looking at things from another angle.
I can't help it, it is automatic... when I see something good looking I automatically began to bend my head to look "otherwise".
So yes, it makes people laugh about me but who cares :)
It is therefore quite natural for me trying to rotate frames on photoshop sometimes.
... and sometimes, the result is unsettling and strangely intriguing.
That's what I feel when I look at this photograph... and as I learned to trust my eyes, this is why I publish it like that !]

Cali propose un livre regroupant une sélection de 60 peintures numériques, réalisées entre 2004 et 2008. C'est donc simple, on prend sa CB, on se bouge le cul et on l'achète illico !
